It all started with family. When our little ones came along, I picked up a camera and, like a lot of new parents, just started snapping away. No clue what I was doing, just capturing every moment. Hundreds – no, hundreds of thousands – of photos later, I actually got pretty decent at clicking that button. Mostly pics of the wife and kids, of course. My style? "Spray and pray!" Take a ton of shots and hope a few turn out great. Hey, it worked!
Then came the career shift from engineering into real estate. It was tough as Software Developer for 15 years switching into real estate. Really tough. The culture, the hustle, the grind, the creativity, and the work was a complete shift. But my amazing family had my back through all the ups and downs. I kept putting in the work, and that's when I realized I could use my photography to stand out. I started taking photos for my clients – not just good photos, but great photos. I went above and beyond for them, and it paid off. My real estate business took off!
But I didn't stop there. I got bitten by the videography bug too. Completely new territory, but I dove in headfirst. With every video, I learned something new, pushed myself further. First, with videos of our family vacations and then of homes. People started noticing, and then they started asking me to create videos for them. Honestly, I was hesitant at first because I was just doing it for fun, but I took the leap. Now, I wasn't just a Realtor, I was a Realtor and a photographer/videographer. The two blended perfectly.
With each client, each house, I poured my creativity into it. Every project was my next Picasso masterpiece. I was learning on the fly, "faking it till I made it," but I loved every minute of it.
Fast forward to today, and here I am: a full-time real estate agent and photographer/videographer. I'm still pushing the creative boundaries, using the power of media to help my amazing clients sell their homes as well as serve other agents in the most engaging, cinematic ways possible.
This is just the beginning. I’m still improving. I’m still creating. There’s so much more I have to show. Whether it’s a cozy starter home or an extravagant mansion, you’ll only get the best with me! Not because I can make a few bucks, but because I just love doing it!
